A promotional USB drive molded from Denimite made with Lee's own used denim, with "Made from used denim" molded into the back of every part. Shear MFG developed the material, designed and machined the molds, and produced the run.

Eyewear
Sunglass frames in Denimite for an eyewear brand. Shear MFG developed the frame-grade material, the preforms and temple tooling, and produced the frames for the launch.
rag & bone
A solid Denimite cube produced as a retail fixture, made from the manufacturing offcuts of rag & bone's own denim lines. rag & bone was the first client to turn its own waste stream into finished goods, with the material's layered face carried around every edge.
Shear MFG wallet
A minimal card wallet in Denimite, designed, machined, and finished in-house and sold direct. The product that proved the material's finishing process.
Denimite
Post-industrial denim bound in resin. Dense, layered, and durable; it machines cleanly and takes a high polish. Formulation, press process, and production equipment developed in-house. Supplied as sheet stock and finished components; available in standard and black.
Slatency
Slatency began as Soot, a colourway in our Slate-ish wall tile line, and was developed into its own product under Shear MFG. A hard wall covering pressed from recycled paper laminate, with the split face and relief of natural slate at a fraction of the weight. Product, production line, and direct-to-market distribution developed and operated for more than a decade.
Marblus and Billium
Marblus is a cast surface material with the figure of stone at a fraction of the weight. Billium binds waste-stream fiber and flake into sheet and block. Both are Shear MFG formulations supplied as sheet stock.
